Violet’s Tempest

When Violet worries about her upcoming performance in the school play, Nan, Uncle Tony and Uncle Sebastian rally round to help her overcome her fears. Ian Eagleton’s lyrical text perfectly captures Violet’s heavy sadness at the start of the story as well as the joyful lightness she feels by the end. This uplifting picture book also portrays a loving, non-traditional family inclusively and affectionately.
