EA x IBC case study
From reluctant to rapt: how inclusive books impacted reading across 12 schools
We teamed up with the English Association (EA), the leading cross-sector subject association for people passionate about English language, literature and creative writing, to find out what happens when inclusive books are introduced to the classroom.
Curated packs of inclusive books recommended in the IBC Excluded Voices report went to a sample of UK primary schools, and the case study explores the impact on children’s reading enjoyment and educators’ confidence to share inclusive books with their pupils.
