The Story Bridge

Romani storyteller Richard O’Neill tells a beautiful tale of compassion and humanity, complemented by Raquel Martin’s soft and nuanced illustrations. When a group of Travellers bring their crafts to the town of Ambria, there is friction with a community on the other side of the riverbank. Through a shared passion for the arts and the value of friendship, barries break down, bringing the two communities together. It’s a joyful celebration of the traditions and contributions Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people make to society.
