The traditional Chinese painting ‘Along the River During the QingMing Festival’ by Zhang Zeduan is reproduced as an incredible concertina fold-out. Additional hand-drawn characters link to the reverse fictional story, of Duan’er (Zhang Zeduan as a child) as he chases a magpie along the river. Beautifully illustrated by Yu Rong.
